Happy Birthday Grampie

Happy 96th Birthday Grandpa! It is so difficult to watch you compassionately struggle from this mortal existence and back to your one true love, Grandma Olive. I love you both so dearly and honestly look to you for guidance in my relationships, especially in my marriage. You are the very reason our family is as close as it can be and why the Angels sing you to sleep each night as you prepare to meet your sweet wife again at the gates of Heaven. My blessing to you is peace and joy and absolute understanding that those left to finish their trials and test during our mortal existence will do so with your kind, gentle and urging words of faith, perseverance and kindness to ALL PEOPLE. You are a beautiful giant of a man...a man of infallible integrity and love. I love you Grampie and hold you in my arms affectionately forever.

This is my Family Blessing Board created by myself and others over the past week. Unity is a powerful tool and this became evident to me as we communicated the blessings, pictures, quotes and songs that are important in our lives. I feel blessed today to have individuals in my life that are creators of beauty, acceptance, healing and abundance. I know the world is vibrating on a higher frequency because of the blessings on this board. I know that families are closer, nature is more beautiful, forgiveness comes quicker and lives are LIVED!!!! I am in gratitude for all of you and cherish the impact you make in my life. To you I say the one true prayer thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Blessing Board

I'm creating a family blessing board for this week (June 16th-June 22nd). What this is to me is a daily recording of 3 blessings I feel about my family (biological, friends, world, spiritual, community, universal...just family). I want you to be a part of this creation. I am going to write my 3 blessings each day this week and will add the ones you send to me each day as well. At the end of the week we will have a beautiful creation for us to share with eachother and the world.

I am committed to send you a color copy of these blessings (name omitted) so you can remember your blessings and also share in the blessings of others. The only thing I ask of you is to e-mail them to me daily...it'll only take a few moments. I will keep you updated on how the board is coming along and send you inspiring thoughts to keep you going. I love you and want to share this with you! I am also open to sharing with anyone else in your family groups. All I need is an e-mail from them with their 3 blessings for the day. Have a wonderful day and thank you for sharing in this with me!!!

BOYS

I can't wait to be a big sis!!! Two little brothers...yep 2! I'm already working on names but for now I call them the Yankees (my dad's favortie baseball team). RJ and I also came up with Augusta National and Torrey Pines (another couple of favorites from pops). Hit me back with more ideas...Dad calls them Chip and Putt, afectionately!!!

Colors

My crayons are dull lately. The colors have faded, the names are scratched out, the tips pushed against sandpaper and melted in friction. I can't seem to find the ambition to mold and repair my small, childlike tools of creation. So, I turn to scissors and glue to mend the torn edges and roughly sketch in the outline with a pencil.

Angels

Have you ever tried to define the word angel? Have you ever tried to pull out the perfect shaped box that the feelings of angels contain? Can you even begin to describe what being near an angel feels like? Is your experience of an angel the same as mine? These questions (and so many more) have been surrounding my space as I feel the hands of angels in my life.

Very literally my angel is described as a woman who is courageous enough to call me on my crap, face to face, to put their arms around me and tell me to “trust.” An angel can be that blue eyed beauty that insists “the process works” and takes you by the hand, cheers you on and says “be first” and “take it on.” This angel can spend countless hours serving you, loving you, sharing with you and yet the depth of the connection is neglected by the mere words that we know. A spiritual language that I have yet to discover becomes the only thread at really holding this woman, this light, this power and inspiration in her true magnificence.

Another angel thrives as a man once cradled as a boy. That man, that guardian that cushions the steps of his sisters and takes them by the hand with the understanding protectiveness that only an angelic brother can display.

An angel exists in a “sparkly blue world” filled with devotion and unconditional love to family, self and friends. Where bright eyes shine as the light and very soul of divinity and where memories abound with laughter of young children in swimming pools and gatherings of family as the matriarch stands to share her tenderness.

Angels exists as sparkles of light, a glimmer of adoring love with the very choice of parents and family in the palm of their small hand. The partial connection to spirit and being aligning the very life they are slowly evolving to be.
This lucid pathway that angels walk is among us. We share their breath, they hold our hands, they communicate our language and ask us to join them…not in death but life. “LIVE,” they cheer! “Laugh and love,” they claim. Can you hear them? Can you feel them? They are there! They are yours! They love you and I love you!!!
